This white striped ceramic vase was made on the potters wheel. When I threw it, I used a textured potter’s rib to form a deep groove into the wet clay. I used an opaque white glaze letting it pool among the ridges. I left the peaks unglazed, so you can see iron-based clay.
Inside, the vase is fully glazed on the inside and will hold water for flowers. It is great for a bedside table, desk, or an entryway table. I love this vase for billy balls, bunny tails, or silver dollar eucalyptus greenery.
The height is just under four inches tall. The width is over two inches wide. The opening at top is just over a half of an inch wide.
The vase you see in the photo is the one that ships. Everything in my shop is in stock and ready to ship. Each pot is unique, so I photograph each one individually.
This vase is part of a small batch series. The letter “z” stamped on the base means that it was the twenty-sixth one of its shape.
