This white striped jar was made on the potters wheel. When I threw it, I used a textured potter’s rib to form a deep groove into the wet clay. I used an opaque white glaze letting it pool among the ridges. I left the peaks unglazed, so you can see iron-based clay.
Inside, the jar is fully glazed. It is great for sugar or small other small items that you need to keep a lid on.
The jar you see in the photo is the one that ships. Everything in my shop is in stock and ready to ship. Each pot is unique, so I photograph each one individually.
