This white striped vase was made on the potters wheel. When I threw it, I used a textured potter’s rib to form a deep groove into the wet clay. I used an opaque white glaze letting it pool among the ridges. I left the peaks unglazed, so you can see iron-based clay.
Inside, the vase is fully glazed on the inside and will hold water for flowers. It is great for a bedside table, desk, or an entryway table. I love this vase for billy balls, bunny tails, or silver dollar eucalyptus greenery.
The width is about three and a quarter inches wide. The height is just under six inches tall. The opening at top is about an inch wide.
The vase you see in the photo is the one that ships. Everything in my shop is in stock and ready to ship. Each pot is unique, so I photograph each one individually.
This vase is part of a small batch series. The letter “o” stamped on the base means that it was the fifteenth one of its shape. Sometimes, I make it through the alphabet in a batch, but I usually move on to a new kind of pot and restart the alphabet.
All pottery is lovingly packed and double boxed, using 100% recyclable material. I've had great success with shipping pots far and wide, but please contact me if there are any issues.
