This speckled white ceramic vase was thrown on the wheel.
It's angular shape makes it a fun vase for table arrangements. The opening at the neck is about three and a half inches wide, making it perfect for bold arrangements that still need to include a few thick stems. I love putting billy balls, bunny tails, or eucalyptus in this form. Wild bouquets contrast nicely with the angular design of the form.
It is glazed in a white opaque glaze that when fired results in a thick satin finish with iron speckles. Two areas on the outside are left bare to reveal the texture and color of the iron in the clay. The interior is fully glazed and watertight.
The vase you see in the photo is the one that ships. Everything in my shop is in stock and ready to ship. Each pot is unique, so I photograph each one individually.
All pottery is lovingly packed and double boxed, using 100% recyclable material. I've had great success with shipping pots far and wide, but please contact me if there are any issues.
The color and luminosity of this glaze is really difficult to capture in a photo. Color is light, so please understand that white may appear beige, gray, or blue in some circumstances.
