This shino striped vase was made on the potters wheel. When I threw it, I used a textured potter’s rib to form a deep groove into the wet clay. I used a luster shino glaze letting it pool among the ridges. I left the peaks unglazed, so you can see iron-based clay.
Inside, the vase is fully glazed and will hold water for flowers. It is great for a bedside table, desk, or an entryway table. I love this vase for billy balls, bunny tails, or silver dollar eucalyptus greenery.
The width is about three and a quarter inches wide. The height is just under six inches tall. The opening at top is about an inch wide.
The vase you see in the photo is the one that ships. Everything in my shop is in stock and ready to ship. Each pot is unique, so I photograph each one individually.
