This blue striped ceramic planter was made on the potters wheel. When I threw it, I used a textured potter’s rib to form a deep groove into the wet clay. I used an transparent blue glaze letting it pool among the ridges. I left the peaks unglazed, so you can see iron-based clay.
Inside, the planter is unglazed with a small hole for drainage. It is great for small succulents or cacti. The height and width is just under three inches tall.
The planter you see in the photo is the one that ships. Everything in my shop is in stock and ready to ship. Each pot is unique, so I photograph each one individually.
This planter is part of a small batch series. The letter “h” stamped on the base means that it was the eighth one of its shape.
All pottery is lovingly packed using 100% recyclable material. I've had great success with shipping pots far and wide, but please contact me if there are any issues.
