This white striped cylinder vase was made on the potters wheel. When I threw it, I used a textured potter’s rib to form a deep groove into the wet clay. I used an opaque white glaze letting it pool among the ridges. I left the peaks unglazed, so you can see iron-based clay.
Inside, the vase is fully glazed on the inside and will hold water.
The vase you see in the photo is the one that ships. Everything in my shop is in stock and ready to ship. Each pot is unique, so I photograph each one individually.
